MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade County Schools superintendent Alberto Carvalho announced Saturday that all classes have been canceled for Monday, August 27.
Superintendent Carvalho said the schools would need to inspect the schools before students are allowed to return. In addition, FIU and the University of Miami has canceled classes on Monday as well as the Miami-Dade Archdiocese said all classes in Miami-Dade would be closed. FIU said it will be closed Sunday and Monday and re-open Tuesday.
