In the mood to party like a movie star? There’s no better place than the capital of entertainment to live a night like a Hollywood star. Just wear jewelry and showstopper evening wear, drive your sports car and smile for the paparazzi (or at least imagine). In the city of the ever-evolving nightclub life, from retro glamour to deep house, here’s a list of the best clubs to party red carpet style.

Club LIV at The Fontainebleau Resort

Miami Beach, FL 33140

The Fontainebleau is the most exemplary representation of the Neo-baroque style that Morris Lapidus mastered in Miami in 1954. It is now 35,000 square feet of hotel, residence, restaurants and clubs on Millionaire Row that has served as backdrop scenery in movies like “James Bond,” “Scarface” and “The Bodyguard.” Kanye West may have a guest appearance, but also know that the Fontainbleau was a party destination for the Rat Pack.

Black-lacquered walls and splashes of copper have given the Wall Lounge such a retro glam that has positioned it as “a throwback to carefree decadence,” according to its Twitter page. This impenetrably exclusive boite encrusted in the W Hotel is the ideal setting for a red carpet soiree.

The Delano

1685 Collins Ave.
Miami Beach, FL 33139
(305) 672-2000
www.delano-hotel.com

Redecorated by Phillip Stark in the early 90s while still maintaining its whimsical structure from the late 40s, The Delano was the place to find Madonna when she was still living in Miami. It is located right on the ocean, yet secluded enough to maintain the privacy of its patrons. Whether at the Rose Bar, between the pool table and the sushi bar or at Bianca, the indoor and outdoor restaurant, this spot screams glamour. The night unfolds either at the bar by the pool and its surrounding sexy cabanas or at The FDR, the former Florida Room redesigned by Lanny Kravitz, another South Beach aficionado.

The Standard

40 Island Ave.
Miami Beach, FL 33140
(305) 673-1717
www.standardhotel.com

Formerly the Lido Spa Hotel, The Standard is the first spa hotel owned by archeologist of ambiance Andre Balazs, who visits the property regularly with or without girlfriend Chelsea Handler. Mingle with the VIP crowd in the winter and preferably on a lazy Sunday by the infinity pool sipping one (or more) of its unusual cocktails and waiting for the best sunset in town. Be aware of the private yachts docking, since you never know who’s hiding behind some oversized shades.

The Setai

2001 Collins Ave.
Miami Beach, FL 33140
(305) 520-6000
www.thesetaihotel.com

One of the favorite hangout places of Jay-Z and Beyonce, The Setai has a caviar and champagne bar where you may find yourself elbow-rubbing with actors and starlettes like Paris Hilton. Spend the day at the beach having food served to your tent and hang out at night by the fountain and pool of this “Asian inspired” hotel.
