Q: I love Volvos! Where did you buy yours?

A: At the Volvo place up on West Dixie Highway about a half hour from here. I knew I wanted a Volvo. The reason why I got it was because one of the tennis people from the community park tennis team said they would only get a Volvo. It was the strongest car, very, very safe for the children, and gave very few problems.

Q: Did you get a Volvo for any specific reason?

A: My children's father wanted me to have a safe car for the kids.

Q: Did he at least help you buy it!?

A: He gave me $27,000 in cash to buy the car. When I went to pay, the whole place just stopped and went quiet. They said no one pays in cash. Everyone pays by credit card.

Q: So it was a positive buying experience?

A: Yes, the salesperson was very surprised because I came in with a little white Suzuki Swift. They thought there was no way I would buy a Volvo because my car was so inferior compared to that brand.

Q: Well, you proved them wrong! Other than keeping your kids safe, what's your car's main use?

A: I drive around locally to the parks, to the children's museum, and once in a while to my sister's. Yesterday we went up to Aventura Mall. There's not much mileage on the car. I put an average of 15 miles a day on it. That's it!

Q: Is there anything else we should know about your awesome Volvo?

A: It has a terrific trunk for storing things in. It's a good color for reflecting the sun. And it's very sturdy. It really does hold the road. It drives smoothly. I really, really like my car!
