Sheriff's Manhunt In Weston, School Placed On Lockdown
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A school in Weston was placed on lockdown as sheriff's deputies conducted a search for a man who violated a restraining order.
The search centered on the Savanna community on Winterberry Lane where neighbors noticed a large law enforcement presence. The sheriff's office said the man being sought has been known to be violent.
Gator Run Elementary, which is in the area, was locked down in an abundance of caution during the search.
