Sentencing Phase For Dayonte Resiles Scheduled For May

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The sentencing phase for Dayonte Resiles has been pushed back.

He's convicted of murdering 59-year-old Jill Haliburton Su back inside her Davie home back in 2014.

The penalty phase of the trial was slated to start Monday, but is now is expected to begin in May.

During Friday's hearing, both the defense and the state acknowledged that the penalty phase could last up to two weeks.
