Judge Grants Former Cuban Political Prisoner Temporary Reprieve On Eviction

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A former Cuban political prisoner facing eviction from her Miami home has won a temporary reprieve.

On Thursday, a judge stopped 82-year-old Ana Rodriguez's eviction set for next week.

Her attorney argued the bank that foreclosed on her home back in 2018 committed fraud.

Next month, Rodriguez and her attorney will argue the case before the Florida Third District Court of Appeal to try to overturn the eviction.
