New Surveillance Cameras Set Up Around South Beach

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Beach has many new surveillance cameras to help in the effort to prevent the kind of chaos on South Beach seen during spring break.

Police said dozens of cameras have been added to some of South Beach's worst trouble spots.

On Ocean Drive alone, they've doubled the number of cameras that are watching everyone and everything 24 hours a day.

They added there are also more cameras watching Lummus Park and the Beach Walk path than ever before.
