IRS: Personal Protective Equipment Bought Over The Past Year Is Tax Deductible

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – All that personal protective equipment you bought over the past year is tax deductible.

The IRS says you can write off items such as masks, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes.

The policy covers PPE purchased since Jan. 1, 2020.

But you'll need to itemize deductions as part of your medical expenses for the year.
