Horse Rescued After Getting Trapped On Wooden Bridge In Plantation

PLANTATION (CBSMiami) – A horse has been rescued after its hind leg broke through a wooden bridge, trapping the animal.

This all happened Wednesday evening at Volunteer Park in Plantation.

Plantation Fire Rescue as well as the "Large Animal Team" from Davie Fire Rescue, worked to get "Vertigo" the horse out.

The good news is that Vertigo is expected to be OK.
