Florida Man Accused of Breaking Into Home, Trying On Baby Clothes, Threatening Woman

MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) -- Police investigators in Pensacola say a 36-year-old man broke into a woman's home, held her hostage while he masturbated and tried on some of her baby's clothes.

Christopher Strickland was arrested last week on charges including aggravated assault, battery and home invasion.

The woman told Escambia County Sheriff's deputies the man was wearing women's clothing when he broke in on June 2.

He held a pillow over her face, but she struggled free and he told her he'd kill her baby if she tried to get free again.

The Pensacola News Journal reports he said he'd return and kill her if she told police.

Investigators tracked him down through DNA. He's being held on a $283,500 bond. A lawyer isn't listed on jail records.
