ORLANDO (CBSMiami) – A Florida construction worker woke up in the hospital Sunday morning after being struck by a 7,000 pound pipe.
He was working on an interstate in Orlando as part of what state officials call “the largest infrastructure project in Florida’s history.”
CBS4 News was told he was hit in the leg by a 60-foot long pipe used to make pylons for elevated roadways.
No word on exactly how this happened.
He is expected to survive.
