Facing South Florida: Sanctuary Cities

Perhaps the most emotional and divisive issue of the just-ended Florida legislative session was a bill to ban sanctuary cities.

This measure has been pushed previously but this year passed at the urging of Governor Ron DeSantis.

As a result, Florida now has the strictest, and some would argue the cruelest, laws on the issue in the country.
