Officials say the suspects communicated with and attempted to solicit sex acts from what they thought were 13- and 14-year-old children.

Authorities say the suspects all traveled to a location in Polk County at separate times to meet the fictitious children.

Detectives say many of the men brought condoms and lubricant. The release says one man knew he was HIV positive and was planning to have unprotected sex with a 14-year-old boy.
