On Friday, attorney Brian Claypool told Judge Glenn Kelley that too many prospective jurors for Dalia Dippolito’s retrial have an opinion of her guilt.
Most of 100 potential jurors interviewed Thursday told Kelley they knew about the case. Another 100 potential jurors were being screened Friday and final selections are scheduled for Monday. Kelley will rule on the motion Monday.READ MORE: Former US Rep. Carrie Meek Passes Away At 95
Dippolito was arrested in 2009, and her case was featured on the TV show “Cops.” An appellate court threw out a 2011 conviction.
