MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami) – Three teens are recovering after being shot in a Miami Gardens neighborhood Saturday afternoon.

They were gunned down outside a home on Bunche Park Drive at about 4 p.m.

Bullets tore thru a white car, a pair of sandals left behind right by the car.

Police haven't said much, but a neighbor who lives right across from where the teens were says he heard about six gunshots then saw a car drive away.

"I mean I saw them.  I saw the ambulance pulling up," said Eric Montoya.   "I saw some kids over there.  I thought it was a man.  I saw people laying on the street.  I saw the ambulance come pick people up."

Just over a year ago this woman and her family moved to a home just feet from where the teens were gunned down.

"I had never seen anything like this," said Alba Jofre, who moved in just across the street last year.   "It is scary for me and my family.  We're usually working people.  We come and go and as you can see I have my teenagers that drive and come in and out. But we've never seen anything like this before.  It is scary."

"May God be with them.  That's all I can really say," added Montoya.

Police said the three teens were expected to be ok.

Anyone with information is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers 305-471-TIPS.
