ORLANDO (CBSMiami) – Here’s a lesson to be learned. Don’t stand close to a dolphin using your iPad.

A woman visiting Sea World in Orlando learned that lesson the hard way when a curious and playful bottlenose dolphin snatched her iPad right out of her hands and dropped it in the water.

Another visitor, Kuadiel Gomez,  caught the whole thing on video and posted it to Facebook and YouTube.

The video shows the dolphin lunging out of the water and grabbing the iPad right out of her hands at the edge of the dolphin’s pool.

The woman quickly fishes her tablet out of the water and walks away but not before the dolphin and dolphin friends started splashing and soaking the crowd of people.

It was unclear whether the wet iPad still worked after its close encounter with a dolphin.
