Traffic Backed Up For Hours After Man Threatens To Jump Off Palmetto Exwy

DORAL (CBSMiami) -- Roads were reopened several hours after a man threatened to jump from the Palmetto Expressway.

The southbound exit ramp on the Palmetto to the eastbound Dolphin Exwy was shut down Sunday afternoon for nearly three hours causing drivers to be stuck on both highways.

Florida Highway Patrol was on the scene and were eventually able to talk the man down.

He was taken to the hospital.
