SANFORD (CBSMiami/AP) — A central Florida man is accused of killing a woman he was living with and staying in her apartment with her body for two days.

Jimmie Elliot, 28, has been charged with first-degree murder. His brother, 23-year-old Jeremiah Elliott, who was also found in the apartment, was also charged.

According to an arrest affidavit, Jimmie Elliott said he met the victim, 28-year-old Latrice Randolph, several weeks ago and was living with her. He told officials he killed Randolph on Sunday after an argument.

Officials say Randolph was stabbed several times. She was found in a closet underneath bed sheets.

The investigation began after Randolph’s mother became concerned about her daughter’s well-being.
