Kevin Spacey Packs Inspirational Attire For Panthers Trip

SUNRISE (CBSMiami) -- Actor Kevin Spacey has packed his bags and is heading south to bring a little luck to his favorite hockey team.
The Oscar-winning star posted a video on Twitter zipping up a suitcase that included his unique Florida Panthers jersey.

The jersey, emblazoned with the number "1738" is in reference to the Panther's anthem, "Trap Queen," by rapper Fetty Wap. The song is played after each win in the locker room.
Spacey has become an inspiration to the team this season -- with the top player each night night getting to rock the "Spacey in Space" hoodie, considered an honor inside the locker room.

Apparently, only one person knows what hidden meanings lay behind the phenomenon. But with the Panthers having one of their best seasons in franchise history, replacing rats with Spacey as their lucky charm may be just what the team needed.
