MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  The Hubble Space Telescope has broken a major record.

The telescope measured the farthest galaxy ever seen making it a record breaker.

The galaxy known as GN-z11 is the oldest and furthest object seen so far in the universe.

Video released by NASA on Friday  show the galaxy as it was 13.4 billion years in the past. That's about 400 million years after the Big Bang.

The galaxy is located in the direction of the constellation Ursa Major.
