Construction Closing Down Parts Of Palmetto Exwy

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Drivers along the Palmetto Expressway may be detoured on the ride home Wednesday night.
Officials are shutting down parts of SR 826 at S.W. 8th Street for continued construction on February 24-25 between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Drivers can:
- Exit at SW 8 Street, go west to NW 87 Avenue, north on NW 87 Avenue
- Enter the eastbound SR 836 ramp to access the northbound SR 826 flyover bridge
Drivers on northbound SR 826 going to eastbound SR 836 can:
- Exit at SW 8 Street, go east to Tamiami Canal Road, north on Tamiami Canal Road
- Left at NW 72 Avenue, north on NW 72 Avenue/Milam Dairy Road
- Access the SR 836 east ramp after NW 7 Street
Drivers on northbound SR 826 going to westbound SR 836 can:
- Exit at SW 8 Street, go west to NW 87 Avenue, north on NW 87 Avenue
- Turn west at NW 12 Street to access the westbound SR 836 ramp
Eastbound drivers on SW 8 Street going north on SR 826 can:
- Go east to Tamiami Canal Road, north on Tamiami Canal Road
- Left at NW 72 Avenue, north on NW 72 Avenue/Milam Dairy Road
- Access the SR 836 west ramp at NW 11 Street to enter the SR 826 north ramp
Westbound drivers on SW 8 Street going north on SR 826 can:
- Go west to NW 87 Avenue, north on NW 87 Avenue
- Enter the eastbound SR 836 ramp to access the northbound SR 826 flyover bridge
