AVENTURA (CBSMiami) -- Plantation Police have released video hoping the public can identify a woman who purchased thousands of dollars worth of stuff using a stolen credit card.

On Friday, surveillance footage from the Louis Vuitton store at the Aventura Mall shows the suspected thief, in a pink pullover sweater, buy a $2,100 purse at the store.

This woman was seen on the same day at a medical facility at 4101 N.W. 4th Street looking for unlocked doors.

The credit card was stolen from a doctor's office in Plantation. The victim, who is a doctor, learned of the theft by her bank reporting the suspicious activity. She then discovered her wallet had been removed from her purse.

Investigators said three credit cards and two ATM cards were used at multiple locations, totaling more than $7,300.

If you recognize the woman in the video, you're urged to call police.
