Jack U‘s GRAMMY nominated “Where Are U Now?” was the first step in Justin Bieber‘s career rehab. But he was introduced to fans via his guest appearance on the Jack U song, which is nominated for the Best Dance Recording GRAMMY.

When Radio.com spoke with Bieber, he noted that simply the idea that he was working with Skrillex helped to change the way music fans see him: “It shows the world, ‘Hey, if Skrillex is so authentic with his music, and he’s co-signing on Justin Bieber, let’s give him a shot.’ Because I think certain people, especially dudes… I’m a 21 year old man. I do pop music. I don’t know if it’s necessarily ever been ‘cool’ to like Justin Bieber. And I’m not saying, ‘Yeah, dude, come be a ‘Belieber,” I don’t know, really, what that entails.”
