On Whiteside: “I think at the end of the day, Whiteside is important [in Miami], but it’s a strange dynamic. And I think it’s something other teams are going to bring up in Free Agency. “From what I heard, Whiteside loves Miami and wants to stay.”

“If say a guy like Kevin Durant wants to come to Miami, they’re going to have to decide – do we want to keep Whiteside, or do we use our cap space on Durant [or someone else].”

“I doubt there is a scenario where they lose out on Whiteside and lose out on a big name player. I think it’s going to come down to a choice for [Pat] Riley.”
