Pembroke Pines Police Investigate Murder At Apartment Complex

PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) – Pembroke Pines Police detectives worked for hours Friday at the Arium Resort apartments to solve the murder of an unnamed adult black male.
A number of police officers staked outside a first floor apartment. Chopper 4 did see detectives speaking with people on scene as crime scene investigators worked to gather items.
Pembroke Pines Police Capt. Anthony Cerino told CBS4 News that this is still a very active investigation in its initial stages. He said detectives are still trying to sort out how the person inside the apartment died.
Residents we spoke with did not want to speak on camera but some are very concerned about this latest crime.
The apartment complex is not immune to violence. Our archives show that last August a woman was shot to death at the complex and in September police investigated a home invasion robbery that left a suspect dead.
