MIAMI (CBSMiami) — The University of Miami will be hosting a Republican presidential debate this election year.
The Republican National Committee confirmed the reports Wednesday afternoon.
The debate – scheduled for March 10th – is just five days before Florida’s presidential primary.
The Washington Times will lead the debate with CNN.
The University of Miami hosted a debate in 2004 between President George W. Bush and John Kerry. In 2007, it also hosted a pair of primary debates.
