Florida Panthers vice chairman, partner and alternate governor Doug Cifu joined the Big O Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the state of the team, its current 13-game points streak and the future plans he and owner Vinnie Viola have for the Cats.

“We’re going to build a culture of winning and stability to South Florida. Candidly, for the last 15 years, there’s been a revolving door [of personnel] and it just lacks stability. We’re going to build up a winner in South Florida and hopefully have many Stanley Cups driving down Las Olas.”

“The one thing I’ll say about [Panthers principal owner] Vinnie [Viola] and myself, we may not be the smartest guys in the world, but man, we care.”
