Miramar Man Killed On Motorcycle

WEST PARK (CBSMiami) -- Officers are investigating the death of a Miramar man who crashed his motorcycle Wednesday morning.

Investigators said Jose Antonio Uriarte, Jr., 26, was riding a 2007 Suzuki Boulevard westbound at a high rate of speed near the 5900 block of S.W. 25th Street approaching State Road 7, when he locked the brakes and lost control of the motorcycle before crashing.

No other vehicles were involved.

Police say Uriarte was not wearing a helmet.
