MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Can you hear that? The Polar Express has arrived in South Florida to take kids of all ages to the North Pole.

The magical story comes alive when the train departs the Gold Coast Railroad Museum for a round-trip journey to the North Pole set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack.

Once onboard, hot chocolate and treats are served as passengers read along with the classic children's book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg. Santa and his helpers greet passengers at the North Pole and then board the train, where each child is given the first gift of Christmas – a silver sleigh bell. Chefs aboard each car lead passengers in singing Christmas carols on the ride back to Gold Coast Railroad Museum.

The Polar Express runs through December 27, 2015 on select dates.

Call (305) 253-0063 for more information or visit www.gcrm.org.

Ticket prices range from $35.00 for coach per person to first class tables of 4 for $276.00 and first class tables of 6 for $414.00. Children under 2 years old are free. Families are encouraged to wear their pajamas for the ride!
