FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – The Broward Sheriff’s Office says a passenger on a Spirit Airlines flight at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport made a bomb threat late Thursday night.READ MORE: Margate Police Searching For Missing Woman Arnisa Hunter
According to BSO spokesperson Mike Jachles, the aircraft is currently in a secure area and fire rescue was on standby.

BSO said explosive detection K9s are being utilized to make a sweep of the plane and bags.
