Police: Woman Set On Fire During Fort Lauderdale Fight

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Fort Lauderdale Police say they are looking for a woman who set another girl on fire during a fight.

Officers said 28-year old Katie Peterson now has second degree burns.

Peterson along with another woman got into a fight over a man around 4 a.m. on Monday near the 700 block of SW 2nd Court.

During the scuffle, the other woman allegedly put hand sanitizer on Peterson and lit her on fire.

The woman was able to get away prompting the search by police who have not released a description of the woman they are looking for.
