Focus On South Florida: Read for the Record

This coming Thursday, children and adults worldwide will participate in the world's largest shared reading experience.

"Read for the Record" highlights the importance of building children's vocabulary and love for reading.

The Children's Services Council of Broward County and Broward County Public Schools are coordinating the event locally.

We focus on how this event can help children succeed in school and in life, and how local volunteers are needed to make it a success.
