Child Left Inside Parked Car In Bayside Lot

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A security guard spotted a 2-year old child inside a parked car at a South Florida parking lot.

The find prompted Miami-Dade Police to be called out to the Bayside parking lot where the child had been left alone inside the locked car.  It is unclear how long the child had been left inside the car but he was okay.

Authorities were trying to locate the parents and were able to find out who had left the child alone.

Police said the babysitter had gone to get something and forgot the child in the car.

She will not be facing any charges, according to police.
