MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The King has returned – well sort.

Cleveland Cavalier forward, and former Miami Heat star, LeBron James is back in Florida.

For the last week or so, LeBron and his fellow Cavs have been working out at the Key Biscayne Recreation Center, according to the Key Biscayne Portal blog.

James rented a house on the water on Key Biscayne for the month of September. Two other Cavs have also rented homes on the Key. The team is doing some of their pre-season training in Miami.

According to the blog, James is “renting” the indoor basketball court at the rec center for his exclusive use while he and his teammates are working out.

Personal trainer David Alexander is in charge of Jame’s workouts. James nor the trainers have said why he chose Key Biscayne.

Members of the center told CBS4 James arrives, and leaves, surrounded by security and a large entourage. They added that they’ve barely had a glimpse of him, let alone had a chance to get a selfie.

“He comes here a lot,” said a KeyBiscayne resident.

The Director of the center,Todd Hefferbergh said, “We don’t give any information on our members or our renters, it’s a policy.”

Despite some fanfare, others were not as excited.

“I don’t care much for Lebron.  He doesn’t play for the Miami Heat anymore,” said one man.

And so, Lebron, welcome back to South Florida.  It might not be South Beach, but Key Biscayne ain’t so shabby.
