”Basically it was three vehicles involved, possibly 10, 15, maybe even 20 minutes prior to this incident,” said Miami-Dade polic spokeswoman Jennifer Capote.

The investigation then lead officers to the area of SW 268th Street and SW 124th Avenue where they found a Nissan Infinity in a canal with two injured people inside.

“Thankfully the passenger and driver of the Infinity are safe although they were shot. They were treated on the scene and released,” said Capote.
