DORAL (CBSMiami) – Donald Trump is weighing-in on the prison escape of  drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman – once again making controversial remarks about Mexico.

The Republican presidential candidate took to Twitter, tweeting out:

He then took a jab at his fellow political competitors.

His comments come after he ignited a firestorm with his remarks on Mexican immigrants during his campaign launch in June.

Trump said illegal Mexican immigrants were “drug smugglers, criminals and rapists.”

Since then, Univision and NBC cancelled their plans to air Miss USA, of which Trump is part owner.

Sunday night, the Miss USA pageant aired on the small cable channel called “Reelz.” Trump missed the event because he is campaigning in Phoenix.
