An auxiliary reason for locking up Dwyane Wade is so he can mentor some of the Heat’s young talent on the roster, according to Bruce Bowen.

“And this isn’t a knock on Dwyane but he’s no longer that young superstar,” Bowen said on the Joe Rose Show. “He’s that veteran superstar that going to show young guys how to be professional within the Miami Heat organization. And I like that pick from Duke. You’ve got a young man coming in, Winslow, that’s gonna be very special and why not learn under the tutelage of Dwyane Wade as compared to trying to figure it out on his own.”
