For many of us, the first sign of gray means panic, plucking and then a visit to the hair emergency room, also known as the salon.
But at Scott Alan Hair Studio in Aventura, women, like 28-year old Ashley are going the way of gray . Hers has a silver “ombre” tint.
“I love it. I ‘m totally obsessed with it,” Ashley said, after seeing her new color.

“Young celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Kelly Osbourne and most recently Miley Cyrus at the Met Gala have all dabbled in gray. There’s an even a hash tag on Instagram called #grannyhair,” Venti said.
Stylist Chip said although there may be 50 shades of gray, don’t say it.
“We create silver ,sterling, chrome, charcoal. Don’t call it gray! You can say smoky topaz , if you want,” said Chip.
Gina had a clear gloss applied to her dulled blond highlights. Then Chip added a blue base called sterling. He then applied a washable color chalk to the front for some fun streaks. It’s a less damaging and temporary way to get the silver color without bleaching.
Sixty-eight year old actress Lillian Anron got a trendy cut, but she’s never dyed her naturally silver hair. She’s always embraced it.
“When I was younger and my hair was chestnut with sort of reddish highlights. I couldn’t wear all the colors. I wanted because it clashed with my hair. Now that I’m silver, it doesn’t matter. It’s neutral. It all kind of just pops,” Lillian said.MORE NEWS: Rose Becomes 17th Named Storm Of Busy 2021 Hurricane Season
