Martinez said he left Walgreens and went to work two blocks away, which was exactly where the traffic altercation happened.

“There were some cops here on the avenue looking around,” he recalled.

Martinez saw as they brought a man to the scene to explain to the officers what happened.

“He was nervous. He was looking around he was looking everywhere,” said Martinez.

The van and SUV involved somehow ended up two blocks away in that Walgreens parking lot around 4:15 p.m., when both men involved called 911.

The victim was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
