MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Indulge in a little bit too much green beer? Took one too many Irish car bombs? Don’t rely on luck to steer you home safe–get a designated driver or take advantage of AAA and Bud Light’s Tow to Go service available St. Patrick’s Day.

St. Patrick’s Day should not end in a tragedy but, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, between 2009 and 2013, 276 lives were lost due to drunk-driving crashes.

So if you find yourself impaired–and you didn’t plan ahead and arrange a designated driver, Tow to Go is offering free rides on St. Paddy’s Day to help prevent drunk driving.

  • Confidential local ride within a 10-mile radius to a safe location
  • Service is provided in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee
  • Free and available to both AAA members and non-members
  • The AAA service vehicle transports the driver and their car

Since its inception in 1998, Tow to Go has safely removed more than 24,000 impaired drivers from the roads, according to AAA.
