Florida Man Arrested At Chicago Airport For Gun In Suitcase

CHICAGO (AP) — Authorities in Chicago say a Florida man has been arrested for having a loaded gun in his briefcase at Midway International Airport.
Chicago police say 46-year-old Kurt Young of Tampa, Florida, faces a misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed firearm at an airport. Bail was set at $15,000.
Police say the gun was discovered Saturday morning in an X-ray machine at a security checkpoint.
Young posted bond and was released. He is due in court on April 24.
It was immediately unclear if Young had an attorney. A listed phone number for Kurt Young in Tampa called Sunday didn't have voicemail.
