MIAMI (CBSMiami) — A suspended Broward Sheriff’s deputy is in trouble with the law again.
Eduardo Mesa was arrested in September 2014 after investigators said he stole drugs that belonged to a dead man, Billy Martin, and lied about it.
Now he is facing new charges for allegedly stealing explicit photos during a domestic violence call in 2014.
Investigators said he took a memory chip from a man that contained sexually explicit photos of the man’s wife.
Those photos were later found on Mesa’s work computer, according to investigators. He is now charged with accessing a computer without authority.
Mesa it out of jail on bond.
