Shoppers Out In Full Force At S.Fla. Malls

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Amid holiday celebrations, shoppers are out in full force at some South Florida malls.
With deals up to 70 percent off, it's no secret that the day after Christmas is a great day for shopping.
"If you get things off on the right foot, you can get really good sales, 70% off, 50% off before 2 o'clock. It's great," said shopper Michelle Mishaan.
Mishann got to the mall early and cashed in on those after Christmas bargains.
For April, Kimberly and the kids, it was a girls day out and they were after Christmas bargains.
"I feel like there's a lot of good sales due to Christmas shopping. I guess they figure maybe everybody spent all their money so we'll put everything on sale now, so I like to get the deals," said shopper Kimberly Winter.

Another shopper Phyllis Grant was on her way to Miami when she somehow ended up at Sawgrass Mills and she somehow ended up with a great new bag!
"Well I figure I'll go out and treat myself but when my husband sees this he's going to have a fit." said Grant.
CBS4's Ted Scouten asked Grant, "At least you got a good deal, right?"
"I sure did. Everything's on sale," said Grant.
Some of the real deal hunters were lined up outside the Tory Burch store.
Scouten asked, "what are you in line to buy?"
"Shoes especially, bags, clothes, whatever there is….whatever's available," said shopper Roberta Zanette.
The store was so popular that entry was limited. When five people left, another five could go in.
Roberta Zanette and Vanessa were visiting from Canada. Every year they make the pilgrimage to Tory Burch specifically for the sale.
"We like Tory, that that's why we're here," said Zanette.
