Neighbors 4 Neighbors Spreads Holiday Cheer To Families In-Need

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Each year, for the holidays, CBS4's very own community outreach program, Neighbors 4 Neighbors, pairs families-in-need with those willing to give.

This year, a Broward company teamed up with the Handy Organization for abused and neglected kids and surprised two families with a limo—and that was just the beginning.

On a holiday high from the generosity and cheer, CBS4's Cynthia Demos wrote a tribute for all those to hear:

'Tis 23 days before Christmas and up pulled a limousine

With wide-eyed children to find a grand holiday scene

On Kevaree, On Naveah , On Noah. Nyla, there is no time to lose

Two families adopted by a company that really loves shoes

"We like to help people," said the Shoes Dsire Ap CEO

It's time to spread holiday cheer, with crafts, smiles come on...it's time to go!

Shabrel Kendrick and her 6-year-old know this is something they'll always remember

Mom says this is "A very good start for December"

Jonish Felder with her two month and one year-old and two year-old too

Say they are "shocked" at what really nice people can do

Neighbors 4 Neighbors adopt a family program made the perfect match

Of course this fella (Santa) was involved so the plan could be hatched

" Ho,ho,ho," said Santa and he got a gift, too

Kevaree ran over and said "I made this for you"

Toys for the tots and something every kid would like

Safety gear and a cool decked out bike

Even the moms who have been down on their luck got a treat

Laptops since their finishing up their education, "that's so sweet"

If the bike wasn't enough, Kavaree got something that didn't miss

An amazing priceless face and hug for the Nintendo DS

The families are overjoyed with this program in place 22-years spreading goodwill and holiday cheers

The kids and mom so happy Santa was a welcome site

Merry Christmas to all into all a good night
