BOYNTON BEACH (CBSMiami) — A man is wanted for grabbing cash from a teller’s box and dashing out of a Boynton Beach Walmart.

Surveillance cameras captured the whole thing at the store located at 3625 S. Federal Highway  just before 4:00 a.m. on Nov. 2nd.

A previous customer is seen waiting for his change as the teller takes out  cash.

At that moment, the man quickly leans over the counter and grabs a handful of cash from the teller’s box before making a run for it.

The customer in front of him attempted to stop the man by grabbing him, leading to a brief struggle before he was able to get away.

Boynton Beach Police said he drove off in a 2002-2005 two-tone green/silver Subaru.

They are asking for public’s help to identify the man.
