The event, to be held at the BB&T Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12th , will feature representatives from more than 50 companies who will interview potential job candidates on the spot.
In the health care field, Dell, Inc will be looking to hire medical claims examiners, claims supervisors, claims auditors and team leads. MedPro Billing has over 300 openings for billing managers, billing collectors, billing posters, new client liaison, administrative assistants and information technology help desk. Florida’s Department of Health – Broward County is will be hiring for health services reps, senior clerks and senior community health nurses.
Convey Health Solutions has immediate openings for customer service, enrollment agents and IT positions!
YMCA of Broward County is hiring for Director of Behavior Strategy, Special Needs After School Program Directors, Community Relations Associates, After School Program Directors, After School Counselors and data entry clerks.
RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc & Speedway, LLC will be hiring for store manager trainees, food service managers, assistant managers, store managers, night managers, co-managers and part-time associates.
If food service is more your thing. BRIO Tuscan Grille is opening in Broward Mall. They are hiring the following positions at the job fair: servers, host, bartenders and line cooks. They’re also looking for pasta cooks, prep cooks, pantry cooks, saute cooks, dishwashers and server assistants (bussers).

If you’re planning to attend there are a couple of things you should do.
First, pre-register online at jobnewsftl.com. Print out your registration page and bring it with you. This is your “fast pass” into the Job Fair at 10 a.m.
Also, update your resume and bring at least 30 copies with you. The event organizers urge job seekers to dress their best. That doesn’t mean you have to go out and purchase an expensive outfit, just dress clean cut and professional.
