MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- World renowned author and spiritual leader Deepak Chopra is in South Florida doing something he has never done before.

For the first time he will be presenting his 21-Day Mediation Challenge Creating Abundance in Spanish and has teamed up with journalist and motivational speaker Ismael Cala.

"I was in Valencia, Venezuela we were on the same platform talking to thousands of people and Cala came up to me and said I've been enjoying your meditation experiences in English and said why don't you do it in Spanish and 9t was the natural thing for me to say I've sold more books in Spanish than English believe it or not," said Deepak Chopra.

Last year the queen of talk Oprah Winfrey presented Deepak Chopra's 21 Day Meditation Challenge. More than 3 million people from 194 countries have participated in the challenge.

Now it is open for hundreds of thousands of participants in Latin America and Spain.

It originated the same way I had already done the meditation without Oprah," explained Chopra. "Then I was on her program with her and I said to her 'do you want to participate?' She signed up and we have three million people and are in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest meditation in history, so I know we are going to break that."

Cala says he was personally healed by Chopra's reading that it is an honor to be a vehicle in spreading his message.

"It's a dream come true," said Cala.

Aside from this new challenge, Chopra will also be releasing his latest book, The Future Of God.  For many, it's a part of their lives, but for others it could be a new beginning.

"People say 'I don't have the time' usually [as] excuses so I say if you don't  have time one a day you need it twice a day because if your internal dialog is 'I don't have the time' that tells me right away that you are stressed," said Chopra.

The 21 Day Meditation Challenge Creating Abundance starts on November 17th.  It is free to participate anyone can sign up at www.choprameditacion.com/Cala.
