FHP Searching For Tractor Trailer Involved In I-95 Crash

BOCA RATON (CBSMiami) – A major crash along Interstate 95 temporarily shut down both north and southbound lanes Monday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a tractor trailer hit a vehicle causing it to go off the highway, crash into another vehicle and hit a power pole.

The crash that happened just south of Glades Road around 1:30 p.m. resulted in a fire and power lines could be seen hanging from the pole involved in the crash.
The female driver of the car that hit the pole was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The tractor trailer driver is not known and left the scene. If anyone has information contact FHP at (954) 837-4012.
