MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Fire Rescue responded to a boat fire Sunday evening just after 6 p.m. to find a 60’ party vessel with smoke coming out of it.

The boat called “My Friendship” was docked at Brisas Del Rio Marina on NW 24 Avenue.

According to Miami Fire Rescue, the fire was quickly contained and extinguished to prevent it from spreading to other boats or structures.

No one was hurt.

It is not clear how the fire started. The owner of the boat said it was recently renovated.

The fire is under investigation.
