Victoria's Secret Angel Explains How Sexy Meets Sporty

MIAMI BEACH (CBS4) – A well-known women's lingerie retailer is expanding their brand and encouraging women to exercise in an even sexier way.

Supermodel Doutzen Kroes is a Victoria's Secret veteran, which means a lot in the fickle world of catwalk cuties.

"I've been with Victoria's Secret for 10 years. I'm going to be 29, so that's a long time," said Kroes.

The 5'10, Dutch model is at the top of her game and she doesn't plan on stopping any time soon.

On Tuesday, Kroes appeared at a meet and greet on Lincoln Road for the launch of the all new Victoria Secret's Sports Line. The brand is all about sports bras and workout wear, designed to make you look good while you move.

"It's all about feeling sexy and motivated to go to the gym," said Kroes. "When you put something sexy on it helps because sometimes it's a hard step to take."

Not only is Kroes a model but she's also a mom. She said that she has to work hard to maintain her body.

"I usually workout one and a half hours, 3 times a week. It's to keep it bikini ready all year long," said Kroes.

She admits that there's a lot of stress on her to look her best because it's her job.

No longer just a sexy underwear line, Victoria's Secret is taking aim at the highly competitive and successful workout wear market. They claim their new "Incredible Sports Bra" line gives girls something most sports bras don't.

"Sports bras usually flatten you. These bras have inserts and pads that give you something little extra," according to Kroes.

Kroes, who spends much of her time on the road, said her biggest goal is keeping it all in perspective.

"The pressure to always look a certain way is a lot. I try to show I don't wear makeup all the time, it's not always a glamorous life," said Kroes . "I'm also a mom and I am cooking at home and cleaning. I really enjoy that, to be normal."

The starting price on the bras are $39.50 for more information, visit their website.
